AAPL Deals to a PACKED House at Family Table! Both Friday & Saturday nights AAPL had two & three tables of Texas Hold'em going AND Blackjack fill in tables. Banditos Wednesday Night - table OVERFLOW! AAPL recently aquired Banditos both on Monday & Wednesday night. Since starting at Banditos the table(s) have been packed with people waiting to play as well!! (click for details)

Banditos Opening Night - packed table and people waiting! AAPL recently signed Banditos Bar and our opening night went very well. We filtered in 5-6 extras and as the venue grows so will the tables. For those who have never been, Banditos is a quaint bar on 776 heading for Englewood. It has a country charm, plenty of room, a small stage where bands play and a very friendly staff. Oh and did I forget to mention frosty mugs of beer!! (click for details)

Olde World Play Kicks Off With A BANG! - Over 35 players joined us to kick off AAPL's first night at Olde World Restaurant. "The turn out was so large, we should have had 3 tables", said Lenny Rifkin, President of AAPL. "Thursday we WILL be better prepared. A Letter From Lenny to CPL Players - The President of AAPL has written a letter to CPL Players and posted it on our website. This letter is a special invitation to current CPL members encouraging them to play with AAPL to experience the differences between leagues. Opening Day Sweet's Diner in Port Charlotte was a success!! All players had lunch provided by Sweet's, 5 games per table were played and every player won something! Several new dealers were in training and still the day went smoothly, thanks to all who played for their patience.    (details)

Congratulations to those who played in the recent CPL tournament.

Additional congratulations go out to those players from AAPL who made it to the final table of the CPL tourney.

AAPL represented 30% of the final table - WELL DONE!!

This was quite an achievement considering only 13 AAPL players attended this event, so to have 3 players in the finals was spectacular!!

 Special thanks to CPL for their hospitality to our players!
